1. Quality control of source

<1>. Selection of furnace size: The size of furnace determines the stability of product quality. If the furnace body is too small, the furnace condition changes frequently, resulting in unstable SiO2 quality, while the furnace body larger than 12500KVA has less output and cannot guarantee the continuity of product supply. Therefore, industrial silicon furnaces from 6300KVA to 12500KVA are the first choice. Ensure that the SiO2 content of the engineering micro-silica powder is ≥85% and the corresponding impurity content is less, and all indicators can meet the relevant standards;

<2>. Preliminarily classify the submerged arc furnace itself such as the load of the smelting furnace, the quality of the ore raw materials, and the type of reducing agent. The micro-silica fume samples will be collected for analysis, and the product classification will be made based on the test results.

2. Quality control of the production process

<1>. In the field of automatic control of micro-silica fume "production line" (environmental protection equipment), by observing on-site furnace conditions, communicating with in-plant technicians, adjusting the main fan control parameters without affecting the effect of environmental protection dust removal equipment , Change the wind speed at all levels of different furnace conditions, change the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter bag, control the filtering effect, and achieve the purpose of adjusting the silica fume content and other parameters. In addition, it is also possible to upgrade the dust collection equipment, install a temperature adjustment air trap group, expand the filter area of the bag filter, etc., to change the SiO2 condensation time and molding properties of the entire dust collection system, and ultimately improve the micro-silica powder. Item parameters are adjustable and controllable within a certain range;

Before the product is unloaded and sealed, the operator must visually ensure that the color of the micro-silica powder in the bag is uniform and the product is not agglomerated, and sew a unique numbered quality card on the packaging bag. This makes each bag of micro-silica powder have traceability, strengthens the responsibility of the operator, and facilitates the identification of each link of production and storage, which greatly enhances the quality assurance of the product;

<3>. Inspection of the production site is an important part of the quality control process. Full-time on-site inspection personnel will conduct daily routine inspections of stockyards and smelting site records to ensure that the smelting process, raw materials and finished products have not changed, and the quality of micro-silica fume products is stable. In the event of changes in process, raw materials, furnace conditions, and other conditions that may affect the quality of micro-silica fume, the products of the day must be stored in a timely manner, and the samples must be analyzed in time, and then classified based on the test results.

3. Quality control of product delivery and warehousing

When products are stacked in the warehouse, products of different furnace types must be stacked separately; products of the same equipment are stacked separately in a batch of products produced within a week. The warehouse management personnel must make records of the origin and storage locations of different batches of products. The laboratory personnel will conduct another sampling inspection with a whole vehicle (25-30 tons) as a batch. The number of sampling samples shall not be less than 20 bags, and the sampling weight of each bag shall not be less than 100g. The samples are mixed and sent for inspection. Relevant information such as inspection time and index data shall be recorded for each inspection.
